We produce all of our lamacoid tags and custom panels in house on our state of the art engraving equipment. We have large format rotary engravers that produce high quality custom lamacoid signs and labels quickly and efficiently. We also have specialized machines for engraving odd shaped parts or the inside of small cylinders. The engraving programs that we use allow us to import your excel file for large complicated lists, which eliminates errors and reduces cost. We are also licensed to manufacture signs that include braille. Our laser engraving machines allow us to quickly manufacture large quantities of lamacoid tags and signs.

We only use the best material on the market for our lamacoids. Our sheet stock is produced using an “In-line Extrusion Process”. This means that our material has never been on a roll, so it will always remain flat. The “cap” (top colour layer) and the “core” (background layer) are extruded separately and are only laminated together, days after they have cooled and solidified. Each layer is continually monitored for thickness consistency. We have a huge stock of materials that cover every environment our products can be used in. Keep in mind that just because it’s plastic, it doesn’t mean it has to look like it. We have a great selection of “metallics” that give the look of gold, silver and bronze while achieving the great contrast made possible by the laminated layers.

Our products are routinely used in commercial environments but they are equally suitable for use in your home, airplane, boat or car. Whether it’s inside, outside or underwater, we have the right material in various colour combinations.

Bastion Engraving, formally known as Bastion Trophies, was the first trophy shop on Vancouver Island to have a computerized engraving machine. We followed that up years later by being the first shop on the Island to have a laser.
