For this project, Bastion Engraving laser engraved a company logo onto each door of a handmade wooden truck model. The truck was made from maple, measured approximately 18 inches long, and was created as a retirement gift for a trucking company.
The finished piece combined detailed craftsmanship with clean logo engraving, creating a personalized keepsake with a direct connection to the recipient’s work.
Because the logo was added to both doors of the wooden truck, placement had to be handled carefully. Each side had different details to work around, including the mirrors and door handles.
The logo also needed to be oriented correctly depending on which side of the truck was being viewed. This made alignment especially important so the engraving looked natural on both sides of the model.
Laser engraving provided a clean, permanent mark while allowing the logo detail to show clearly against the maple wood.
